Download MIUI V9.6.24.0.OEJMIFD for Poco F1 – Brings major improvements

Poco the sub brand of Xiaomi has launched it’s first Android device Poco F1 a few weeks back. The device is equipped with decent hardware combination in a very cheap price, the same hardware comes with 2018 flagships including OnePlus 6, Galaxy S9, Note 9 and even Pixel devices. The Poco F1 has already reached in the hands of users and now the company is rolling out it’s first system update for all units across the globe.

The new update arrives as software version MIUI 9.6.24.0.OEJMIFD that brings multiple improvements as well as minor bug fixes in the system to achieve stability. Method to install the MIUI V9.6.24.0.OEJMIFD update on Xiaomi Poco F1 via updater app

Grab the Recovery ROM for your device and copy it on the internal storage of your device.

Now you need to launch the ‘Updater‘ app on your device.

Now at the top right corner click on the three-dot menu ‘…’ icon and select the ‘choose update package’.

Lets the process to complete.

Download the previous Xiaomi Mi A1 V9.6.18.0.OEJMIFD fastboot flashable firmware file. Link

Extract the fastboot ROM file you downloaded above and you’ll find a .bat extension file in the folder.

Download and install the latest ADB and fastboot drivers. Follow our guide to install them.

Now you need to boot your device into fastboot mode, to do so, turn off your device completely and then press Power + Vol Down Button at a time.

Once in fastboot then connect your phone to PC.

Double click the ROM file with .bat extension and lets the process complete.

That’s it! Once done with it your phone will boot the latest MIUI firmware.
