Just a few days back we posted a news about LG V20 Korean variant received Oreo in it’s hometown. Now US carrier sprint started rolling out Android 8.0 Oreo update with July 2018 security patch for LG V20 units on it’s network. We have posted below the screenshot of the update, the update is released as build OPR1.170623.032 and software version LS99720a. For more details head to the firmware detail section below.

The update brings major jump from Nougat to Oreo and also brings goodies of Oreo including Picture In Picture Mode, Auto-fill, better Notification handling, Homepage improvements, smart font options and improved battery and a lot more.

How to install Official Oreo LS99720a KDZ on Sprint LG V20
The update is heading to the eligible devices, if you think your device is un-rooted then the OTA is heading to your phone anytime soon. If you think you got zero patience in your DNA then head to Settings > About device section and there check for latest system updates if available.
As we mentioned above that only stock un-rooted device is eligible for the update, don’t waste your device waiting for the OTA if your device is rooted, it will never gonna happen you need to switch to manual firmware installation.
Note: If you get OTA update right on your device, then before installing the update it is mandatory to charge your device minimum at 60% to avoid shut down.

Save the firmware file in a separate folder.
