Finally Samsung has started rolling out Android 9.0 Pie stable update for the Galaxy Note 8 units already on beta program as well as non beta users too. How to install N950FXXU5DSB2 firmware on Galaxy Note 8 SM-N950F manually
This is just another possible way to download the firmware without extra effort.
First You need to download Samsung Kies application. Download Kies
Install the application on your PC and Open it.
Connect your device to PC and wait for the Kies app to detect your device.
Now it’s essential to make a backup of your device by clicking on Backup and Restore tab in the Kies screen.
Once the backup process is done, just click firmware upgrade to start the update process.
How to to update DSB2 firmware manually via Odin Process:
Download latest USB drivers for Samsung.
A working data cable is required.
Download DSB2 firmware tar file from the Sammobile download repository
