Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra Receives Third One UI 9 Watch Beta Update

Samsung has started rolling out the third One UI 9 Watch beta update for the Galaxy Watch Ultra, bringing several bug fixes and stability improvements to its Wear OS 7 based software. The update focuses on refining the smartwatch experience rather than introducing major new features.

Update Size and Build Number

The latest beta update carries firmware build number L705NKOU3ZZJ1 and weighs 219.92MB, approximately 220MB. It also includes the October 2026 security patch, according to reports. Currently, the update is available to eligible beta testers in South Korea, where Samsung’s One UI 9 Watch beta program is active.

What’s New in the Third Beta?

The third beta introduces six notable fixes and improvements. Samsung has applied stabilization code to improve overall device operation and sensor reliability. It has also fixed an error affecting the Health app, helping improve the software’s reliability.

Additionally, the update resolves an issue involving Home button shortcut settings after a software update. Two other fixes address the Always On Display (AOD): one prevents supported Now Bar apps from appearing incorrectly on the watch’s AOD screen, while the other fixes screen flickering when notifications arrive.

These changes should provide a more stable and consistent experience for Galaxy Watch Ultra users.

How to Install the L705NKOU3ZZJ1 Update on your Galaxy Watch?

Eligible users enrolled in the One UI 9 Watch beta program can check for the update using their connected Android smartphone.

  • Open the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone.
  • Navigate to Watch settings.
  • Select Watch software update.
  • Tap Download and install.
  • Follow the on screen instructions to complete the installation.

Before updating, ensure your watch has sufficient battery power and your phone has a stable internet connection.

Samsung has not confirmed a stable release date for One UI 9 Watch. For now, users outside the supported beta region may need to wait for further availability announcements.
