Finally the long waited Android Pie update is hitting the LG V40 Thinq units in the US and India. Just head to the download link to grab the Android Pie KDZ file and install it manually using LG UP tool.

The update is heading to the eligible devices, if you think your device is un-rooted then the OTA is heading to your phone anytime soon. If you think you got zero patience in your DNA then head to Settings > About device section and there check for latest system updates if available.
The roll out happened a days ago, so don’t expect the update will hit all devices simultaneously. Considering the regional delays the update will be available in phases which can take up to weeks.
