Process:
Connect your phone to PC via USB cable and move the downloaded Android P boot animation.zip on the internal storage of your device.
Now download ES File Explorer from Google Play.
Open ES file Explorer and grant it root access and to do so, tap on three bars on top left and scroll down until you see root explorer option, enable it.
Is will ask you to grant root permissions just do it.
Now go to the root folder system>media, in the media folder you will find the file name, boot animation.zip, just long press the file and rename it and type .bak at the end.
The older animation will be disabled, now go back to the storage where you have copied the new Android p Boot animation.zip file, just move the file to the same location where older boot animation was placed. [system > media].
Once done with it, long press the file and choose permission from the option, and set the permission to r-w-r-r.
Now save the file and reboot your device.
