Finally budget series devices from Asus also join the Oreo party. ASUS started rolling out Android 8.1 Oreo update for ZenFone 4 Selfie ZD553KL and ZenFone 4 Selfie Lite ZB553KL. Skipping Android 8.0, the company directly pushes Android 8.1 Oreo from Nougat. The stock Oreo update for ZenFone 4 Selfie also brings ZenUI 5.0 a custom skin by Asus that runs over the stock Android interface.

The update arrives as software version 15.0400.1809.405, the complete update is available to download as build ZD553KL_WW_15.0400.1809.405 and ZB553KL_WW_15.0400.1809.405 for both variants. The update is rolling out as we speak, you will be getting the notification anytime soon depending on the regional delays. Tap the Settings icon in the apps drawer.

In the Setting menu, head to the “About phone” section.

Now select tap on “System updates” and check for the available system updates.

Tap on Download if it notifies you of the update, and let it install automatically.
