AT&T LG V30 gets November 2018 security update – build H93120l

AT&T has just started seeding November 2018 security update for LG V30 units on it’s network. The update is landing in the US as build H93120l, the update brings fake “5G E” icon on the status bar. The update weighs in around 1GB in size but there is only a single change mentioned in the change log. However if you are always concerned about the security of your device then we recommend you to take it update as soon as possible. Below we have mentioned the manual process for your assistance.

Process to update November 2018 H93120l OTA on AT&T LG V30

Currently the update is rolling out via OTA so we recommend you to get it on your device via manually check for the OTA.

Tap the Settings icon in the apps drawer.

In the Setting menu, head to the “About phone” section.

Now select tap on “System updates” and check for the available system updates.

Tap on Download if it notifies you of the update, and let it install automatically.

Note: If you get OTA update right on your device, then before installing the update it is mandatory to charge your device minimum at 60% to avoid shut down. Good Luck!
