Finally Huawei has started rolling out latest Android 9 Pie update for it’s flagship twins P20 and P20 Pro in Europe. The latest update brings Android 9.0 Pie update with EMUI 9.0 custom skin on the top, the new update is available for the P20 EML-L09 and and P20 Pro CLT-L09 and custom version C432. The official Pie update for P20 and P20 pro arrives as version CLT-L09C432E5R1P7 and build number 9.0.0.108.

Once you install the Android 9.0 Pie on your device, you’ll be able to access the Swipe Gesture navigation, Rotation suggestion, Adaptive Battery and Adaptive Brightness. Other goodies include Smart replies, Text selection, App actions, Redesigned Quick Setting tiles and Notification Panel, Redesigned Volume Options and lot more.

Extract the update.zip file and you’ll get a new ‘Software folder’ in which you would have a dload folder with Update.APP file inside it.
Now connect your phone to PC and move the extracted dload folder on the internal storage of device.
Once done with the copying work now open Update menu in the Settings app.
Tap on Menu and choose the Local Update option.
Let your phone search for the UPDATE.APP file inside the dload folder, upon successful finding choose install and wait for the installation process to complete.
