Steps to install the V18.104.22.168.OADCNFD update on Xiaomi Mi 5 via recovery
Make sure your device is already running the previous MIUI 9 OS.
Grab the MIUI 22.214.171.124 Recovery ROM for your device and copy it on the internal storage of your device.
Now you need to launch the ‘Updater‘ app on your device.
Now at the top right corner click on the three-dot menu ‘…’ icon and select the ‘choose update package’.

Steps to install the V126.96.36.199.OADCNFD update on Xiaomi Mi 5 via fastboot
Download Xiaomi Mi A1 MIUI 188.8.131.52 Oreo update. [fastboot ROM]
Extract the fastboot ROM file you downloaded above and you’ll find a .bat extension file in the folder.
Download and install the latest ADB and fastboot drivers. Follow our guide to install them.
