Korean tech giant has recently launched it’s premium mid range smartphone. Talking about the specifications of the device, the phone comes with a 6.3-inch full HD+ 1080 x 2220 pixels Super AMOLED display with a the 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood the device is equipped with a upper mid range hardware, which includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with Adreno 512 GPU and the higher variant comes with up to 8GB of RAM on board.
If you buy a 6GB RAM variants or the one with the 8GB RAM both devices will come with 128GB of fixed internal storage, the phone also supports MicroSD card support upto 512GB. Other feature including fingerprint is located on the rear of the device and it also features face unlock as biometric authentication options. The whole hardware is powered by a 3800mAh battery that seems enough to handle the day long activities.
Now let’s jump to the camera department for which the device got fame. The Galaxy A9 2018 is the world’s first Samsung device that comes with a quad camera setup on the rear. The first lens is a 24MP sensor comes with a f/1.7 aperture suitable for day and night time shots. Then comes the telephoto 10MP camera with 2x optical zoom and f/2.4 aperture designed for still images. Above the telephoto lens there is an 8MP 120° ultra-wide for wider shots and the last one is a depth sensor 5MP (f/2.2) camera to access bokeh shots. On the front there is a single 24MP selfie shooter. The phone comes with latest firmware that is packed with colorful wallpapers depicting the skilled artwork from Samsung.
