Just follow the instruction to see how to enable portrait mode or blur effect on Moto Z2 Force.
How to enable portrait mode/Bokeh on Moto Z2 Force Camera
The Moto Z2 Force uses the dual cameras to activate the bokeh effect, or blur effect just like any DSLR camera, with the foreground subject in focus and the background blurred. Motorola itself does’t embedded the portrait mode in the Z2 Force camera rather it give you a coolest feature which is known as ‘Depth enabled’, the Depth Enabled features works the same way like the portrait mode on iPhone 7 or ‘boken’ effect on Nokia 8.
- Open the camera app on your Moto Z2 Force.
- Swipe the camera interface towards right, until you see camera modes.
- Now choose the ‘Depth enabled’ option from the menu.
- Now focus on the subject by taping on it.
- Just press the camera shutter to take the image. The depth enabled mode will blur the background with more focus on the subject.
If you are still not happy with the result don’t worry, Motorola also gives you option to increase/decrease the blur. To do so, open the image you want to edit, in the editing tool adjust the “blur” effect on the image you can taken before. In the Depth Editor, you can adjust location and depth of focus as well.
