After Verizon, LG G6 owners on T-Mobile network are getting some relief after a long time, T-Mobile has started rolling out stock Android 8.0 Oreo to the Lg G6 owners in the US. Android Oreo for LG G6 T-Mobile is rolling out as software version H87220a which is now live as we speak. If you are already running Nougat based H87211h firmware then you’ll be getting the OTA anytime soon. The T-Mobile support page is pretty generic about the update and it doesn’t explain further about the update except the Android version and software version. But as we know that the update brings major jump from Nougat to Oreo and also brings goodies of Oreo including Picture In Picture Mode, Auto-fill, better Notification handling, Homepage improvements, smart font options and improved battery and a lot more.

How to install Official Oreo H87220a OTA on T-Mobile LG G6
The update is heading to the eligible devices, if you think your device is un-rooted then the OTA is heading to your phone anytime soon. If you think you got zero patience in your DNA then head to Settings > About device section and there check for latest system updates if available.
As we mentioned above that only stock un-rooted device is eligible for the update, don’t waste your device waiting for the OTA if your device is rooted, it will never gonna happen you need to switch to manual firmware installation.
