The iOS 12.1.2 for iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max or iPhone XR is a minor update that weighs in around 100MB. apart from eSIM activation the update doesn’t brings anything new to the table. The eSIM activation was enabled recently for all the three devices but doesn’t seems to be smooth. After getting the update on your device, hopefully no more eSIM activation issues arise.
