Verizon is rolling July 2018 security patch update for budget line devices including LG Stylo 2 V and LG Zone 4. The update is released as build X210VPP10d for Verizon LG Zone 4 and LG Stylo 2 V is getting the update as build VS83520j. The update is being seeded through OTA and you can expect the OTA knock at your device anytime soon. The update not only brings July 2018 Security Patch but also fixes the under the hood bugs and improve some stability improvements.
It is always recommended to update your device on any latest system update released by the device manufacturer. Security updates are meant to address the security lapse in the device and protect it from Malware and Virus. At the moment while we are writing this post, the security update for both device is already live. Just follow the steps below to download and install July 2018 for Verizon LG Stylo 2 V and Zone 4.

Currently the update is rolling out via OTA so we recommend you to get it on your device via manually check for the OTA.
- Tap the Settings icon in the apps drawer.
- In the Setting menu, head to the “About phone” section.
- Now select tap on “System updates” and check for the available system updates.
- Tap on Download if it notifies you of the update, and let it install automatically.
