
Big red is on the roll now, LG G6 units on Verizon network are about to receive a new update that brings February 2019 security patch along multiple useful features and bug fixes for better user experience. The February 2019 update for Verizon LG G6 comes with build VS98820g, brings multiple improvements in the overall firmware. Once the new update is installed on your device, you’ll see the security patch upgraded to February 01, 2019 in system information section.

Process to update February 2019 VS98820g OTA on Verizon LG G6
Currently the update is rolling out via OTA so we recommend you to get it on your device via manually check for the OTA.
Tap the Settings icon in the apps drawer.
In the Setting menu, head to the “About phone” section.
Now select tap on “System updates” and check for the available system updates.
Tap on Download if it notifies you of the update, and let it install automatically.
Note: If you get OTA update right on your device, then before installing the update it is mandatory to charge your device minimum at 60% to avoid shut down. Good Luck!
