Xiaomi has already updated it’s Mi 8 and Mi 8 Pro on Android 10, now the Mi 8 lite mid ranger joins the Android 10 party. Android 10 update for Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite is available to download as build number MIUI v11.0.1.0.QDTCNXM, packed with February 2020 security patch and brings stable Android 10 update with goodies of Google’s latest OS for the device.
The company has started a regular roll out of the stable Android 10 for Xiaomi Mi 8 lite code name ‘platine’. Method to install the Android 10 OTA on Xiaomi Mi 8 lite via updater app
Update Process:
- Grab the Recovery ROM for your device and copy it on the internal storage of your device.
- Now you need to launch the ‘Updater‘ app on your device.
- Now at the top right corner click on the three-dot menu ‘…’ icon and select the ‘choose update package’.
- Let the process to complete.
That’s it! Once done with it your phone will boot the latest OS.
