British smartphone manufacturer, Nothing has just started rolling out Android 15 Stable update with Nothing OS 3.0 for Nothing Phone 2a Plus users worldwide. The update is available to download as build V3.0-241226-1537, the OTA is already live at the time we are writing this post, if you are already running Android 14 OS on your device you are going to see the OTA notification anytime soon. Not all users will get the update at once, keep in mind the regional spectrum. If you thing you can’t wait for the official roll out for your country then we have the manual firmware update process defined below.
The device was released with Android 14 out of the box later got regular security patches until major upgrade to Android 15. Nothing also packed the December 2024 security patch along perks of latest firmware including brand new Material You design, AI embedded features and much more. Get Android 15, Nothing OS 3.0 for Phone 2a Plus via OTA
Perform these below steps to catch the OTA.
- Tap the Settings icon in the apps drawer.
- In the Setting menu, head to the “About phone” section.
- Now select tap on “System updates” and check for the available system updates.
- Tap on Download if it notifies you of the update, and let it install automatically.
- As we mentioned above that only stock un-rooted device is eligible for the update, don’t waste your device waiting for the OTA if your device is rooted, it will never gonna happen you need to switch to manual firmware installation.
Note: If you get OTA update right on your device, then before installing the update it is mandatory to charge your device minimum at 60% to avoid shut down. Good Luck 🙂
