ZTE is not alone in this race, in fact OEMs like Asus, Xiaomi (Black Shark) and Razer have already introduced their gaming devices. Most of the modern flagships come with the same hardware, but on the gaming phones there is a dedicated cooling system installed on the CPU/GPU chipset combination to avoid over heating while playing heavy gaming. On the other side normal flagship phone with the same high end hardware often lag during games that’s because they lack dedicated cooling system unlike gaming devices. ZTE’s Nubia Red Magic 3 was released back in May 2019 with Red Magic skin on the top of stock Android 9 Pie out of the box. Now the device getting refreshing new Android 10 OS upgrade.
ZTE Nubia Red Magic 3 Android 10 update, What’s New?
It is needless to mentioned that Android 10 comes with major improvements over Android Pie firmware. The new update is offering a new Game space, with a new mirroring experience, and an enhanced Neo AI smart system. It also features new Redmagic 3.0 skin, a logical bump up from Redmagic 2.0 based on Android 9 Pie. Further this new update teamed up with latest security patch, Picture in Picture mode, split-screen, Dark Mode, with new animation and effects.

Keep in mind there are two variants of ZTE Nubia Red Magic 3, Chinese and International variant. Right now the Chinese variant is receiving the update and the global model will be getting it soon.
How to download Android 10 OTA on ZTE Nubia Red Magic 3?
The update is rolling out as we speak but not all devices will get the update at once, it will gradually hit every device in a few days or weeks. However you can head to Settings > System > System updates and if check for the system update if available, tap on ‘Download’ and install to grab the update.
