Xiaomi’s sub brand Redmi has finally released the MIUI 10 Beta Global Stable version V10.4.8.0.QFKINXM ROM for it’s Redmi K20 Pro in India. The update comes with Android 10 stable OS update with bunch of new features and of course the goodies of Google’s 10th iteration of Android. The update is rolling out for all users in India, if you are getting impatient to download and install the update right away, then you are heading towards the right direction. Fortunately the XDA member Mishaal Rahman has managed to get it’s hands on the firmware OTA and shared it on the XDA forum. Download the recovery flashable MIUI 10 Stable Android 10 ROM for Redmi K20 Pro.
Steps to install the ROM via updater app
Grab the MIUI 10 Recovery ROM for your device and copy it on the internal storage of your device.
Now you need to launch the ‘Updater‘ app on your device.
Now at the top right corner click on the three-dot menu ‘…’ icon and select the ‘choose update package’.
Lets the process to complete.
Steps to install the MIUI V10.4.8.0 on Redmi K20 Pro via fastboot
Download Redmi K20 Pro MIUI 10 update from the link above.
Extract the fastboot ROM file you downloaded above and you’ll find a .bat extension file in the folder.
Download and install the latest ADB and fastboot drivers. Follow our guide to install them.
Now you need to boot your device into fastboot mode, to do so, turn off your device completely and then press Power + Vol Down Button at a time.
Once in fastboot then connect your phone to PC.
Double click the ROM file with .bat extension and lets the process complete.
That’s it! Once done with it your phone will boot the MIUI 10 stable Android Q ROM for the first time.
