Samsung Galaxy A30 receives June 2019 security update

Samsung’s mid range segment device Galaxy A30 started getting June 2019 update in Thailand and Malaysian market. The update is rolling out at the time we are writing this post, coming as build A305FDDU2ASE5 the update brings latest security patch for the month of June, along with a few camera fixes and under the hood improvements. The details about the new firmware are posted below, have a look.

Android Security Patch level: June 01, 2019

Download A305FDDU2ASE5: June 2019 security update for Samsung Galaxy A30

Currently the update is rolling out via OTA so we recommend you to get it on your device via manually check for the OTA.

Tap the Settings icon in the apps drawer.

In the Setting menu, head to the “About phone” section.

Now select tap on “System updates” and check for the available system updates.

Tap on Download if it notifies you of the update, and let it install automatically.

Note: If you get OTA update right on your device, then before installing the update it is mandatory to charge your device minimum at 60% to avoid shut down. Good Luck!

Alternate method: If you are having trouble in getting the OTA, you can try download the firmware from Samsung servers via Samfirm tool.
