December 2018 security patch released for Verizon RED Hydrogen One – Build H1A1000.010ho.01.01.01r.109
Verizon carrier in the US is rolling out a new system update for RED Hydrogen One units on it’s network. The update brings system enhancement, bug fixes and latest security patch dated as December 01, 2018. The December 2018 security patch for Verizon RED Hydrogen One arrives as build H1A1000.010ho.01.01.01r.109, if you own a Verizon exclusive RED Hydrogen One then get ready you are going to hear the OTA knock on your phone anytime soon.
The new update is rolling out as we speak and it will hit every device around the globe in a few days. The December update is based on Android 8.1 Oreo which doesn’t bring anything major to discus except latest security patch. We recommend you, always keep your device updated regarding firmware updates.

If you wish to update your device without waiting for the OTA just follow the steps below.
Download December 2018 H1A1000.010ho.01.01.01r.109 OTA for Verizon RED Hydrogen One
Tap the Settings icon in the apps drawer.
In the Setting menu, head to the “About phone” section.
Now select tap on “System updates” and check for the available system updates.
Tap on Download if it notifies you of the update, and let it install automatically.
As we mentioned above that only stock un-rooted device is eligible for the update, don’t waste your device waiting for the OTA if your device is rooted, it will never gonna happen you need to switch to manual firmware installation.
