Finally after multiple beta tests and updates, MIUI 10 Stable build is rolling out towards Xiaomi devices in China. One of the lucky device among them is the Xiaomi Mi 6, the roll out has begun now and you will be getting the update anytime soon. According to MIUI forum it is a China stable ROM for the Chinese users and the Public release will happen soon after this update. The Beta Stable update arrives as build V10.0.1.0.OCACNFH and weighs around 589MB, which you will get through OTA or via updater App. The change log is also not available at the moment.
As we mentioned above, the ROM is based on Android 8.0 Oreo so you can get all the latest features of Oreo firmware on your device. The main goodies of Android Oreo include, PiP (Picture in Picture mode), Improved Doze mode, better Notifications control, notification dots, auto-fill and a lot more. Steps to install the MIUI 10.0.1.0.OCACNFH update on Xiaomi Mi 6 via updater app
Grab the MIUI 10 Recovery ROM for your device and copy it on the internal storage of your device.
Now you need to launch the ‘Updater‘ app on your device.
Now at the top right corner click on the three-dot menu ‘…’ icon and select the ‘choose update package’.
Lets the process to complete.
Steps to install the MIUI 10.0.1.0.OCACNFH update on Xiaomi Mi 6 via fastboot
Download Xiaomi Mi A1 MIUI 10 update. [fastboot ROM] Link will be available soon
Extract the fastboot ROM file you downloaded above and you’ll find a .bat extension file in the folder.
Download and install the latest ADB and fastboot drivers. Follow our guide to install them.
Now you need to boot your device into fastboot mode, to do so, turn off your device completely and then press Power + Vol Down Button at a time.
Once in fastboot then connect your phone to PC.
Double click the ROM file with .bat extension and lets the process complete.
That’s it! Once done with it your phone will boot the MIUI 10 Stable ROM for the first time.
