Teamed update with September 2019 patch the update bumps the build number to 55.0.A.6.56 that drastically improved the camera quality on the device, by improving picture quality and zoom framing for the camera. The 55.0.A.6.56 update for Xperia 1 comes with more optimized camera interface with smooth shooting experience. Apart from the above added features, the update also installs latest monthly security patch dated as September 01, 2019. Brings stability improvements and some Sony specific security fixes. Download 55.0.A.6.56 update for Sony Xperia 1 with September 2019 patch
Currently the update is rolling out via OTA so we recommend you to get it on your device via manually check for the OTA.
Tap the Settings icon in the apps drawer.
In the Setting menu, head to the “About phone” section.
Now select tap on “System updates” and check for the available system updates.
Tap on Download if it notifies you of the update, and let it install automatically.
Note: If you get OTA update right on your device, then before installing the update it is mandatory to charge your device minimum at 60% to avoid shut down. Good Luck!
