Redmi 6 Pro was released by Xiaomi back in 2018, later the company then re-released the device as Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite with Android Oreo stock Android UI. Mi A2 lite received Android Pie update last year, now stable Android 10 OTA released for the device. The Mi A2 is already rocking the Android 10 update now Mi A2 lite joins the party. Method to install the Android 10 OTA on Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite via updater app
Update Process:
- Grab the Recovery ROM for your device and copy it on the internal storage of your device.
- Now you need to launch the ‘Updater‘ app on your device.
- Now at the top right corner click on the three-dot menu ‘…’ icon and select the ‘choose update package’.
- Let the process to complete.
That’s it! Once done with it your phone will boot the latest OS.

Download TWRP recovery from here and follow install instructions over here.
Once done with it.
Simply toss the recovery ROM on the storage of your device.
Reboot into recovery mode and install zip from sd card.
