he 2018 flagship OnePlus 6 is now getting a new system update from it’s manufacturer that brings major camera upgrades. The new update arrives as OxygenOS 5.1.9 for OnePlus 6, brings July 2018 security patch along rear camera tweaks to improve image quality. The OnePlus 6 devices registered with beta program are also enjoying the latest Android P OS update.
The camera improvements included in the OxygenOS 5.1.9 are, integrated Google Lens mode and beauty mode for selfie portrait, granting access to quick QR code scanning just like Motorola devices, and image recognition tool. Other improvements include, connectivity issue related to Bluetooth, WiFi and voLTE, general bug fixes and improvements.

The update is based on Android 8.1 Oreo, and if you are already running OxygenOS 5.1.8 then you will be getting the OTA anytime soon. We have also mentioned a few manual methods described below.
Download OxygenOS 5.1.9 zip for OnePlus 6
Download and install the Oxygen updater app from Google Play.
Install any VPN and set the location to Germany.
Now open the Oxygen updater app and let it search for OxygenOS 5.1.9 update if available.
If it say update available just download and install it else grab the complete zip file from the link below and install it manually.
Steps to manually install OxygenOS 5.1.9 OTA on OnePlus 6
Download the OxygenOS 5.1.9 full ROM zip for OnePlus 6 from the link below and move it on the root folder of the phone’s internal storage.
Navigate to Settings > System Update > Settings > Local upgrade > choose the OxygenOS 5.1.9 OTA zip
Let the OTA install on your device.
Once done with the installation process, wipe cache from recovery.
