Official Android Pie OTA for Galaxy M10/M20: Download Now

A few months back Samsung announced to release the stock Pie update for Galaxy M3 trio in June this year, but this time the Korean tech giant remained quicker and started distributing Android Pie update for the Galaxy M10, M20 and M30 units in India even before the given ETA. The update is live at the time of writing this post, after posting similar guide for Galaxy M30, now we are here with the installation tutorial to download and install the official Android Pie OTA on Galaxy M10 and M20.

The official Pie update for Galaxy M10 is available to download as build M105FDDU1BSEA, while the M205FDDU1BSEB OTA released for Galaxy M20. The update teams up with May 2019 security patch and brings goodies of Android Pie along with brand new Samsung’s One UI.

Samsung’s One UI, the Korean Tech giant introduced this re-branded UI with main focus on the convenience of one-handed usage. According to the change log, the Android One UI comes with reorganized content, settings and other information to keep you focused on the task in hand. Interactive element have been moved to bottom so that they become easily accessible when using the device with single hand.

OTA method:

If the OTA automatically doesn’t knock at your device. Head to Settings > About device > System updates. Make sure your device is not rooted for the OTA method to work. If you are rooted or it say you device firmware is up to date, don’t panic just head to the Kies or Odin method described below.
