
Soon after Google rolled out June 2018 patch for it’s devices, other OEMs have also started rolling out the update for their respective devices. Today, Sony mobile rolled out June 2018 security patch update for Xperia XZ1, Xperia XZ1 Compact and Xperia XZ Premium.
The June 2018 patch for Xperia XZ1/XZ1 Compact and XZ Premium is rolling out via OTA as build 47.1.A.12.205, so if you are already running Android 8.0 Oreo based 47.1.A.12.179 update then you are eligible for the new update. We have posted the screenshots of the update and extracted information from it. See the firmware details below.

How to get June 2018 47.1.A.12.205 OTA on Xperia XZ1, Xperia XZ1 Compact and Xperia XZ Premium
Currently the update is rolling out via OTA so we recommend you to get it on your device via manually check for the OTA.
Tap the Settings icon in the apps drawer.
In the Setting menu, head to the “About phone” section.
Now select tap on “System updates” and check for the available system updates.
Tap on Download if it notifies you of the update, and let it install automatically.
Note: If you get OTA update right on your device, then before installing the update it is mandatory to charge your device minimum at 60% to avoid shut down. Good Luck 🙂
